The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP27) to the UNFCCC is currently on-going in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt from 6 – 18 November 2022. TiPACCs researcher Ricarda Winkelmann is speaking at a side event tomorrow, 16 November and all are welcome to watch the event live.

What: “Climate Repair”, on the theme how to repairing our world, to avoid runaway climate change. Earth Commission speakers contribute with better understanding of dangerous, interconnected tipping points and Earth system boundaries that are set to avoid crossing such tipping points, for example in ice sheets and coral reefs. With the UN Climate Champions team, Global Commons Alliance / Global Fund for Coral Reefs/ Green Africa Youth Organization, and more.
