7-8 November European scientists participating in the newly started OCEAN:ICE project gathered in Paris for the project kick-off meeting.

OCEAN:ICE will assess the impact of key Antarctic Ice Sheet and Southern Ocean processes on climate and the Earth System. Knowledge and modelling tools developed within TiPACCs will be further explored, developed and applied within OCEAN:ICE, and Petra Langebroek, Svein Østerhus, and Hilmar Gudmundsson were in attendance presenting TiPACCs. Naturally, several of our researchers work in both projects and many were present to see the launch of the project.
