More than 2 years after the TiPACCs project finished, still TiPACCs papers are being published.
Perhaps the recently published paper by Reese, De Rydt and Naughten (Ice-sheet–ocean interactions and the reversibility of a regime shift beneath Filchner-Ronne ice shelf) is the last one?
This study investigates the ice sheet – ocean interactions in the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf. They authors find that sub-shelf melt rates increase much less when feedbacks between ice sheet and ocean are accounted for, than in an uncoupled system. However, the ice sheet will continue to loss mass, even in a coupled system.
Until now, 76 TiPACCs papers have been published, ensuring that our TiPACCs work is well communicated and disseminated, and can be used for further explorations.
