After two years of meeting virtually due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the TiPACCs Consortium has finally been able to meet in person for the Annual Meeting 2022.

This meeting was organized by NORCE and UGA and held in Grenoble, France. Thirty one representatives from NORCE, AWI, PIK, UNN, and UGA as well as invited guests met at the premises of UGA’s Institut des Géosciences de l’Environnement from the evening of Sunday, 12 June to the evening of Tuesday, 14 June 2022. An additional four consortium members participated virtually.

The first day of the meeting was dedicated to presenting the scientific progress in the first three workpackages of the project followed by a tour of the UGA cold rooms.

The second day of the meeting began with a Scientific Steering Committee meeting, followed by a management session and a workshop session on communication and dissemination.

To wrap up the second day, a Scientific Communication Training was held in the afternoon, facilitated by NUSTEM (UNN). To maximize the consortium’s short in-person time together — the first time in two years — UGA hosted working dinners for the partners during all three evenings.
