Nicolas Jourdain (UGA), Lydie Lescarmontier, and Gaean Heymes bring is to Antarctica and introduce us to the temperature fluctuation which has steadily increased: researchers have determined that glaciers are melting, and sea ice has reached its lowest level since satellite records began. This has critical effects to biodiversity and the global climate system.
