In November 2020 took place a new beginner Elmer/Ice course. Due to the covid crisis, the course was held online during two weeks, in place of the previous 2 or 3-day presential courses. The first week, participants were invited to visualize a number of tutorial videos. A dedicated slack channel as well as 4 online sessions were opened for questions. During the second week, further material was presented during five daily online courses of 2 hours. Due to the great success and the international origin of the participants, a morning and an evening session were organized. In total, more than 40 participants from all around the world have attended the course. This course was sponsored by the EU H2020 projects TiPACCs and PROTECT (Link) as well as the French ANR project EIS (Link).

All the material for the course (tutorial videos, slides of the presentation and Elmer/Ice material) are available on the Elmer/Ice wiki (Link), as well as the recorded courses of the second week.
